On Tuesday 15th of May 2018, the primary school in Arkalochori visited our laboratory at the T.E.I. of Crete to try out the driving simulator. The students had the chance to test their driving skills and familiarize themselves, have fun, while at the same time learning various related subjects, such as proper driving behavior and safe driving, defensive driving, and avoiding risky road behavior. The course aimed not only to educate, but also to inform the students about the risks and dangers of reckless driving and the consequences that ensue, and additionally sensitize them to the importance of a safe driving culture.
