LaHeRS participated in the European Public Health Week (EUPHW 2025) via organizing an online event titled: “VR technology for safe commuting in teenagers” on Thursday, 15 May 2025. The webinar was co-organized by the Laboratory of Health and Road Safety (LaHeRS) of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), the University of Turku (UT), and the SAFETeen consortium, with the support of the Injury Prevention Section of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) and the European Association for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion (EuroSafe).
During the session, the SAFETeen partners presented the digital tools developed within the SAFETeen project, and offered a brief overview of how these tools can be implemented in educational settings and prevention strategies.
