An evening, dedicated to the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) staff members who retired during the period 2014-2023, was organized on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Amphitheater of the “Markos Karanastasis” Indoor Gym, on the HMU Campus in Heraklion. The purpose of the event was to honor the staff of HMU who served and dedicated more than 30 years of his life in the field of higher education, leaving behind an important legacy for the future of the University.
During the event, among many important people of our University, the emeritus prof of the Department of Social Work, Ioannis Chliaoutakis, was honored for his significant contribution to teaching and research. All his colleagues at LaHeRS Laboratory, felt very proud. The evening ended with a reception in the foyer of the “Markos Karanastasis” indoor gym. The event is available at the link:
