Mrs. Kounali Vasiliki received her degree in psychology from University of Crete in 2017 and completed her internship at the Psychiatric Clinic of the Scientific Hospital of Crete. Then, she specialized in Family-Systemic Therapy and Counseling for Abused Women.
In 2020 she completed her postgraduate studies in School Psychology at the University of Macedonia and specialized in the field of Education of People with Disabilities.
Since 2018, she is working at the Public Health and Social Welfare Department at the section of Social Solidarity. The department is part of the regional unit of Heraklion that deals with the adoption and fosterage of children, whereshe conducts the psychological evaluationof prospective foster parents and the psychological support of foster children as well as the counseling intervention of their foster families.
Since 2019, she has been collaborating with theLaboratory for the Study of Health and Road Safety Behaviors of the Mediterranean University of Crete as a partner in education and awareness programs in the community and in schools.
